From the oddities which must not remain hidden, is that the seamen; when they would be hesitant in an affair of the vessel; from the inactivity of the wind or its blowing in detrimental contravention – or something from fear over the ship and its people; they would call out in the name of: ‘Shaikh ‘Eedroos’ and other than him from the creation. It is a renegade Khaarijite group that the Muslim should not be beguiled by what he sees from them by way of a manifestation of Islaam – for they are the furthest that could be from Islaam and Islaam is free of their actions. It is impermissible to attribute them to Islaam – rather it is obligatory upon every Muslim to whom Allaah has given knowledge and understanding and discernment of this group and acquaintance of its condition and expertise of it – that he advises the Muslims and warns them against them. For it is a mischief-making criminal group which has corrupted the lands of the Muslims, it caused corruption in ‘Iraq, and it caused corruption in Syria, and it caused corruption in Egypt, and it caused corruption in Libya, and it caused corruption in Tunisia, and … Continue reading
